Planes

Tomorrow–I’ve been dreading tomorrow since I bought our return tickets out of Bangalore. Around 10:00 pm we will take the 1.5 hour drive to the airport. Our flight to Qatar leaves at 3:30am…which means we will be looking for the quiet sleep “lounges” at the airport I’ve read about online. The first flight is 4 hours. Once we reach Qatar, we have about 1.5 hours to find our next plane…which we will be spending 7 hours in as we fly to London. Once we get into London, we will take a 1.5 bus ride to another airport and take a 2 hour plane ride back to Dubrovnik. Miserable? Yes. Not too sure what I was thinking there! We should have just stayed in London!

Now, I’m hoping Qatar Airlines is nicer than the little airplanes we have taken inside India. Those little flights have scared the crap out of me! I thought we were going to die when we hit such bad turbulence on the last flight that the lights in the plane flickered. Yes. They flickered like we lost power for a few seconds. I thought we were going down. It was cute to look over and see our 6-year-old put his hands up in the air with a big smile and say, “Yay! It’s like a roller coaster!”

So–I’m a little nervous. Prayers for safety and my peace of mind would be greatly appreciated!
