After a week in Leeds, we knew we would be ready for some more sunshine and water. I got spoiled being in Cyprus for a month–and I’m realizing how good the big open sea is for my soul. I find it refreshing and calming. Maybe it’s the slower pace of life that permeates the atmosphere here.
It’s like looking over the turquoise sea reminds me to slow down and actually experience the beauty God has created around me. I need to be reminded of that–maybe more than I realize. When I’m by the Sea, it’s like I can take a deep breath and relax–I mean really truly relax. I can trust that God is here, He is with me, and I have all that I need. True freedom.
