As I watched my children play,
I was struck by what it means to be child-like.
Despite the awkward language barriers;
Despite the obvious age differences;
They played.
They laughed.
They used hand motions and what little words they knew
To communicate;
To create a game played together.
Put 10 children in one room from different parts of the world,
With no pretenses;
Nothing planned;
See what happens.
Chances are,
Something beautiful will happen.
