In April, our family is going to Pune. It will be nice because we are moving from cold to warm, but I think it’s going to be a little too hot. It will be a new country and a whole new continent.
A scientist found evidences of a human civilization in Pune that may have dated back to 50,000 years. He found stone age artifacts located near the Mutha river.
Pune got its name from the Rashtrakutas, which ruled over the land of Pune around the year 758 A.D. Its original name was Punaka Vishaya, which means region.
In Pune, the average temperature is 87 degrees fahrenheit. It gets pretty hot in February, with the average high being 91. They get an average of 50 days of rain each year and about 2859 hours of sunshine every year.
After doing all this research, Pune sounds like a really awesome city. We are looking forward to going and hope to have fun.

India! I think of elephants, and saris-a beautifully colorful wrap, at least used to be part of a ladies clothing. 😊 And delicious flavorful food, different than ours, but yummy. Take lots of pictures 👍🏻
Miss you guys; love and hugs!! Grammy
