The Louvre is the largest museum in the world. It displays an estimated 35,000 paintings. It would take 100 days to see everything in the Louvre if you looked at each item for 30 seconds!

The Eiffel Tower was built in between 1887 and 1889. Over 7 million people visit the Eiffel Tower every year. The Eiffel Tower was the world’s tallest man made structure for 41 years!

Stonehenge is between 4,000 and 5,000 years old. Some archeologists believe Stonehenge might have been used as a calendar.

Big Ben is 315 feet tall. The faces of Big Ben get cleaned every 5 years.

Venice is built on 117 small islands that are separated by 150 canals.

London is the largest city in Europe. The houses of Parliament has 1,000 rooms, 100 stairways, 11 courtyards, 8 bars, 6 restaurants, and 1,100 offices.

Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926. She is 90 years old.
